I grew up moving between colorful homes. One in Mexico, with my Indian father and Mexican stepmother, and one in the United States, with my Scottish-American (painter) mum and faux-pa. I went to Bowdoin College for Art History and Modern Dance then transferred to Minerva University and graduated with a degree in Ethics, Art and Designing Societies. I've since worked as an experience designer, art teacher, and executive assistant/creative partner to Chef Dan Barber at Blue Hill at Stone Barns. I'm now settled in Copenhagen with my husband, working on a short story collection, getting my MFA in Creative Writing, and running a manuscript workshop.
